The HMP is the ecologically correct evolution of some basic adsorbents developed in Europe.
The HMP - Hydrocarbon Manager Professional is an effective mixture of epoxy resins, with the purpose of immediate absorption of pollutant hydrocarbons and their derivatives in water resources and on land.
Produced in the form of granules, the HMP agglutinates the oil particles, absorbing them completely and thus eliminating the viscosity effect inherent to hydrocarbons .
The HMP is a unique product: it can absorb hydrocarbons, oils, paints, silicones, animal and plant fat, without risk of rejection.
Unlike other absorbents or dispersants products, the HMP - Hydrocarbon Manager Professional can be used in any weather conditions, even in bad weather. Its effectiveness can be fully observed in any land or aquatic environment, roads, fields, hills, lakes, swamps, beaches, dams, workshops. Any environment can get rid of pollution with a simple application of HMP.
The use of HMP - Hydrocarbon Manager Professional, which has thoroughly tested characteristics, such as retention, saturation, toxicity in salt water and absorption, allows easy removal of the pollutant substance in a controlled manner.
With a high absorption capacity of up to 2.500% in weight, and 100 to 200% in volume, HMP is light cream in colour. When mixed or when being used, it takes on the colour of the petroleum-derivative. When economically feasible, the derivative absorbed can be recovered by centrifugation, remaining chemically unchanged, as various tests have proved.
Once absorbed, the pollutant agent remains fully adherent to the HMP granules, thanks to its unique stability, which prevents it from mixing or disintegrating. The combination of HMP with oil products takes place instantly, promoting a volume ratio of about 1:1 by saturation in litres.

Removal
The cleaning of oil by absorption produces a stable mixture, without fusion or disintegration, preventing the pollutant agent from spilling or adhering to any surfaces. Its removal is also extremely simple:

•  On dry soil: spread manually over the pollutant agent and with the use of scraping equipment, sweeping or simple aspiration. 
•  On Water: Because of its high resistance to water, the HMP can be mixed and released by pumping over or under the oil spill. The use of a net with fine mesh, sieves or pumping systems for later filtering, are also solutions that may be adopted, depending on the situation.
